Privacy & Terms
Short version: be sensible, and we will do the same.
Last updated: June 3, 2026. This is a plain-English page, not a legal maze designed by minotaurs.
Privacy
Digital Opium is primarily a static editorial site. We do not run account systems, user dashboards, or behavioural ad targeting.
What we may receive:
- Information you choose to send directly, for example by email.
- Basic server logs generated by hosting infrastructure (such as request time, path, and IP address) for reliability and security.
What we are not doing here: selling personal data, quietly building personality dossiers, or following you around the internet in a digital trench coat.
How Information Is Used
If you contact us, we use your message details only to respond and manage the conversation.
Technical log data, where present, is used for normal operations such as uptime monitoring, diagnostics, and abuse prevention.
If the site later adds features such as analytics, comments, newsletters, or user accounts, this page will be updated to reflect those changes clearly.
Terms of Use
All content is provided for informational and editorial purposes. It reflects the author's views, experience, and analysis.
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, compliance, medical, or other regulated professional advice. Use judgement before acting on anything you read here.
You are welcome to reference and share links to content. Please do not republish full articles as your own work.
Liability (The Practical Bit)
We aim for accuracy, but no website is perfect and no post predicts the future with 100% precision.
By using this site, you accept that content is provided "as is" without warranties of completeness, fitness for a specific purpose, or guaranteed outcomes.
